My name is Jackson Luft, and I'm in the 2028 junior golf recruiting class from Waco, Texas (McGregor, Texas). I attend Live Oak Classical School and will be entering my junior year.

Since the age of 10 years old, competitive golf has been a very important part of my life, and it has helped me battle through things on and off the course. This lifelong game has instilled in me a strong work ethic and commitment to personal excellence that continues to positively impact me as an athlete. Additionally, the game has blessed me with lifelong friendships, including teammates and fellow competitors.

I play golf because it is a competitive sport that teaches more than balls striking and course management - it teaches virtue, fortitude, and a strong sense of honoring the game to myself and those around me. Even through the ups and downs of a given golf round or tournament season, I find myself continually growing as a person and in my faith through the lessons of this game.

My best golf game is in front of me, including the physical and mental parts of the game! I am excited to continue this journey as I look to contribue to a collegiate golf program seeking national success, strong personal and player development growth, and academic excellence.
